Trilateral agreement to reconstruct kindergartens № 4 and № 72 in Chernihiv
We are pleased to share that through the joint efforts of the Japanese non-governmental organisation Peace Winds Japan and the COLLAR Company, we have raised funds to restore kindergartens No. 4 and No. 72 in Chernihiv, Ukraine. The kindergartens suffered serious damage and destruction as a result of the russian invasion and urgently need restoration.
The financing agreement to reconstruct these facilities was signed on April 20 in Chernihiv between the Chernihiv Education Department and Peace Winds Japan organisation. The founder of the Company, Yuriy Sinitsa took part this event as well.
The successful cooperation between the COLLAR Company and the non-governmental organisation began in March 2022 after Peace Winds Japan offered assistance to rescue animals affected by the war. A social project called “Pets Patrol” was initiated, with its efforts 35,000 kg of free pet food was distributed and more than 200 animals were rescued from the areas with intense fighting in Ukraine.
Later on, the Japanese representatives’ assistance expanded to other spheres, such as the healthcare sector. During their visit to Chernihiv in June 2022, an important agreement was reached to purchase new medical equipment for hospitals.
Today, thanks to our partners, we have an amazing opportunity to restore kindergartens. Building activities will start in May 2023 and end in September this year. This is crucial for Chernihiv residents, as it allows the educational process to proceed and carry on without any delay for kids.
