Despite all the challenges and difficulties on the COLLAR Company’s way, the Company has resumed operations and full manufacturing capacity, taken part in the world’s leading international exhibitions, and even released several patriotic collections in 2022. Difficult times require brave-heart decisions and ideas. So how hard was to cope with all COLLAR Company’s challenges and what achieved during last year, please read in our article.
The main office and manufacturing of the COLLAR Company are located in Chernihiv. During the heavy fighting in this region, the Company had to stop manufacturing and temporarily relocated facilities to Ivano-Frankivsk. But as the shelling decreased, the Company returned to Chernihiv, fully resumed all processes and even expanded the range of products with patriotic collections, designs, and innovative pet supplies. Thus, on March 29, the Company celebrates its second birthday, because we managed to send the first order through Ukraine.
Despite all difficulties, the COLLAR team visited three international exhibitions, namely Interzoo 2022 in Germany, Pats Telford 2022 in the UK, and Pet Fair South-East Asia in Thailand. Thanks to the support of international partners and friends, the team made another noteworthy presentation of Ukrainian innovative pet supplies produced in Ukraine and captivated visitors with the spirit and strength of our people. Furthermore, the Company gained great support for further cooperation and conquering world markets.
During the war, we released new amazing products to support the Ukrainian spirit. Such collections as “Bravery”, “Colors of Freedom” and “HERRRO”, pet toys with light accumulation features and new veterinary products by “Superium”. Moreover, the team will definitely surprise pet parents with fantastic and bright designs of pet products in the next year.
The COLLAR Company’s social projects
The COLLAR Company carried on all social projects in 2022 even in wartime. We resumed canine-assisted therapy sessions in the Regional Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation of children with disabilities “Revival” in Chernihiv, and assistance to shelters and animal volunteers on a regular basis. Besides, “Best Friends”, “Happy Paw”, “Sirius”, “ZooPatrol UA”, “Home of Rescued Animals”, and “Dog Help Kharkiv UA” animal shelters received 12,000 portions of pet food, almost 200 kg of SuperCat wooden litter and more than 1,000 leashes and collars.
In 2022, 320 canine-assisted therapy sessions were held in Chernihiv Rehabilitation Center “Revival”. Lilu, the canine-assisted therapy dog of Yuriy Sinitsa conducted those sessions.
During this year, the Company continued to develop children’s and youth sports in Chernihiv and football school. Almost 300 children are currently involved in playing football. Although the “Chernihiv-Arena” stadium suffered destruction caused by shelling, losses from damage and destruction of premises estimated at more than a million hryvnias, the football school continues to host children and encourage them to play sports.
Currently, ten groups of children, aged from 4 to 14 years, attend football classes. There are 15 children in the smallest group of children aged 4.
“Despite the war and critical economic situation, we continue to develop football and look forward to our common victory. First at the front line, after that in all other spheres. Despite the complicated situation with the logistic system, we continue to develop the stadium infrastructure and restore the destroyed facilities”, –

Another social project “Pets Patrol” which was initiated during wartime, helped thousands of pet parents to get food, accessories, and medicine, so they can take care of their pets. The volunteers evacuated pets from the areas with heavy fighting and transferred them to safer locations and animal shelters. More than that, volunteers were looking for new families to adopt rescued pets.
Remarkably, the COLLAR Company supported and participated in many volunteer projects. We donated to “People’s Bayraktars”, and bought a car and ammunition to cover the needs of employees who joined the Ukrainian Army Forces. Besides, the Company made a great contribution to purchasing a marine drone together with other Family Business members to hasten Ukrainian victory over the enemy.
The COLLAR Company has confirmed the international quality certificate ISO 9001:2015 in 2022. The Company has successfully passed a visual audit in the CAB “Certification body “Certification Centre for Materials & Products”. This certificate confirms that the company’s quality management system complies with the international standard ISO 9001:2015. Nowadays, the ISO 9001 certificate is an unsurpassed advantage among competitors on the national and international levels.
Exclusive collections «Colors of Freedom», «Bravery», and «HERRRO» to support Ukraine
The collection “Colors of Freedom” became one of the fantastic novelties in 2022. Pet supplies are made in the blue and yellow colors of the Ukrainian flag and demonstrate the unity and bravery of the Ukrainian people.
The most important thing is that by purchasing these products, you help in demining the territory of Ukraine. The Company transfers income to such urgent needs that are crucial for each Ukrainian.
The “HERRRO” collection featuring Ukraine’s most famous bomb-sniffing dog Patron aims to show that any pet can be a hero, regardless of its popularity or number of followers. Whether it is homeless, purebred, or mongrel, with or without strange habits. All dogs in Ukraine are heroes now.
All income goes to the animal rescue fund UAnimals, which takes care of animals and pets throughout Ukraine.
The collection “Bravery” is made in patriotic and national designs. It is focused on presenting to the world community the strength of the Ukrainian spirit, invincibility, and love for Homeland. Pet parents can express their support by choosing any item from this collection.
Although 2022 turned out to be challenging for each of us, the Company continues its mission – making pets and people happy – even in the dark wartime. A stable working economy and business are vital and crucial components of a common victory.
